A collaboration with theatre director Mikael Serre, a creation that combines dance, theater and video. The premiere took place at the Grand Theatre de la Ville du Luxembourg in June 2015.

Tchouraï – 2001

Her last solo “Tchouraï”, created in 2001 with choreographer Sophiatou Kossoko based on a text by Xavier Orville, is a sort of summary of her life put into movement, with great force and serenity. It tours in many prestigious places in Europe (City of Paris Theatre, Berlin Festival etc…), in the United States and in China.

 

Z – 1995

A creation for the São Paulo city ballet, Brazil (BALE DA CIDADE DE SAO-PAOLO), as a tribute to the national hero Zumbi, with the original music by Gilberto Gil.

Sahel – 1987

After a four-year absence from the stage, Germaine Acogny makes a come-back in 1987, crowned with success as dancer and choreographer working with Peter Gabriel for a clip, and by creating her first solo “Sahel”.
