A triple bill of works by Pina Bausch and Germaine Acogny.

Pina Bausch’s solo PHILIPS 836 887 DSY and The Rite of Spring join Germaine Acogny’s solo, Homage to the Ancestors to create an electric evening of works never seen together before.

The Rite of Spring will be danced by a special company of dancers from African countries. Faithful to Stravinsky's composition, this fundamental work examines the unyielding ritual, the sacrifice of a ‘chosen one’ that brings the season from winter to spring.
