Performance End of International Professional Workshop 2021

At Ecole des Sables we felt again, a beautiful energy with a very resilient group of dancers after 6 weeks of training.

It was on the occasion of the end of the International Professional Workshop “Around the dances of Central Africa” under the Artistic direction of Alesandra Seutin and Wesley Ruzibiza, on 20th August, at the École des Sables.

These 30 dancers, coming from 4 continents, have been on the professional training workshop “Around the dances of Central Africa” since July 12th at the École des Sables.

The workshops were given by internationally renowned teachers such as Kodro Ange Aoussou (Ivory Coast), Serge Tsakap (Cameroon), Fabrice Mukala (DRC), Alesandra Seutin (Zimbabwe), Wesley Ruzibiza (Rwanda), Amael Mavoungou (Gabon) and Funmi Adewole (Nigeria), accompanied by the rhythms of the percussion instruments played by Ndeye Seck and company.

The audience, who came in great numbers, was amazed by this performance which ended with elegance the 2021 international professional training course at the École des Sables.

Thank you to everyone for making these 6 weeks possible and beautiful, especially the teachers, the participants, the musicians and the whole team of the École des Sables.
