Academie voor Theater en Dans (AHK) in Amsterdam, Netherland and Ecole des Sables in Toubab Dialaw, Senegal is currently seeking applications for African based dancers to participate in a residency exchange. This exchange between the two institutions aims to enrich, stimulate and develop the creativity of the participants while contributing to building a cultural and artistic bridge between dancers from different countries with different educational and professional backgrounds.

Applicant criteria
How to apply
Dancers must be under 28 years of age, living and working in the African continent, have experience in improvisational work, have performed before, and be able to discuss various ideas and concepts. They should be open-minded and able to relate to others of different backgrounds and identities.
To apply please send your submission with the following informations before 5pm (Senegal) 15 December 2022:
- Your latest cv and biography.
- Images, video and weblinks of your work or other appropriate samples with relevant information.
- A written motivation letter stating the reason and interest of participation including what you hope to achieve during the residency, also including any specific ideas that you may have about ways to engage with an intercultural exchange program.
- A motivational spoken video introducing you and your artistic statement.
